At Surface Protection Coatings Limited we are committed to the on-going training and continuous development of our team.
All of our operatives receive site induction, site specific health and safety training for working at heights and asbestos awareness training.
All site foremen are trained in first aid and the Site Supervisors Site Training Scheme (SSSTS). Optional courses which a certain number of operatives carry include:
Abrasive Wheels
International Powered Access Federation (IPAF)
Prefabricated Access Suppliers’ and Manufacturers’ Association (PASMA)
Scaffold Inspector
Operatives also attend product training at Sika Liquid Plastics Limited’s Head Office in Preston, Lancashire.
The organisation obtained ISO accreditation in December 2002 and since then has successfully passed all subsequent audits.
