In July 2014 Surface Protection Coatings were awarded the contract to undertake the refurbishment works of the roof and Penthouse balconies at the prestigious Timber Wharf Apartments in the desirable Castlefields area of Manchester.
It would appear the roof has never been water tight with leaks first appearing not long after the Urban Splash development was completed in 2002.
A Sika Liquid Plastics Cold Applied system to both the roof and balconies was specified and as a Sika Quality Assured Contractor (QA), Surface Protection Coatings were chosen to undertake the works using the Sika Liquid Plastics Decothane Ultra 25 Year System.
We are now happy to say the leaks which have plagued the Development for over 10 years, have now stopped thanks to Surface Protection's first class workmanship and Sika Liquid Plastics excellent waterproofing products.
