As Sika Liquid Plastics Premier Quality Approved (QA) Contractor, Surface Protection Coatings were awarded the contract to undertake the coating of the existing standing seam roof as well as the gutter coating works using a Sika Liquid Plastics Sikalastic 625 20 year System.
A Sika metal primer was applied prior to the full reinforcement of the Sika System to the standing seam roof giving a completely seamless finish.
Due to the Liquid Roofing system being cold applied there is no risk of fire so the works can be completed with no disruption to the flats and offices below.
The finished Sika coating system not only enhances the look for the existing roof but also offers a Single Point Guarantee for 20 years.
